Cocktails and Card Tricks - An Evening of Magic

Come to SideBAR on Tuesday the 12th and learn to amaze! Our resident magician will teach you the secrets the pros use in crafting their routines and help you personalize and create your own. In our two hour introductory class, you’ll learn the fundamentals including mindset, misdirection, forces and what goes into putting together an effective performance. We’ll also introduce you to a few intermediate concepts such as mentalism, controlling a card, palming and some cool flourishes, as well as a couple fun bar tricks for when you don’t have a deck handy! And, we’ll end the session with a couple advanced tricks followed by Q&A. Get personal instruction and tips in a fun, laid back environment (or just find out how David Blaine does it). This class is perfect for all skill types, whether you have some experience but are looking to brush up on the basics or if you’ve never done a card trick in your life! Ticket includes two hour introductory class and free hour open bar (Bud Light draft and well cocktails).
